My Story
"You see things for how they should be, not as they are".
I remember these words as clear as the day my high school counselor told them to me. Early spring afternoon, junior year. Partly cloudy, but with cyan-blue skies. Lunch had just finished and all students regularly met with peer groups and a counselor to promote social well-being. I was a young, down to earth kid with big dreams and a bigger heart. For a time I remember feeling disheartened by it, because deep down I always wanted to strive higher and change the way people see the world, and showing that vision wasn't in the cards at the time.
It was then that I discovered photography and film, with my mom and dad getting me my first camera. It was here I would find the outlet that would allow me to do what I had struggled with; showing people what I see. I haven't put a camera down since, taking tons of photos and videos wherever I go and for the many people I meet.
I'm still very much the same young kid with a big dreams and a bigger heart. Just older now and happy to have found a calling of my own. I've made it my life's goal to ardently be as hardworking and creative towards any endeavor I have. As one of my favorite directors best said, "storytelling, creative innovation, and visual voodoo – no matter the medium – make my heart go thump thump; and sharing all this online with the world, plus as much of my professional experience I can muster, makes my soul sing."
So, let's make waves, and tell stories together. I look forward to working with you.
